Inspired by not only our glorious patio setting, but the Neapolitan flavors of Italy and their rich history of delicious pizza, Ray Signorello installed a wood burning oven imported from Italy to provide a unique experience for his guests. To further enrich the authenticity of Signorello Estate's pizza he sent our chef to train with the world champion pizzaiolo Tony Gemignani, the first non-Italian to win the world pizza champion title, so that you can sink your teeth into the pure, fresh flavor of a true margherita pizza.
We use Italy's famous San Marzano tomatoes for our sauce made fresh each weekend, special dough prepared two days in advance, and top it off with fresh buffalo mozzarella and basil picked fresh from our own garden. The result is a culinary experience to match the excellence of Signorello Estate wines and blend with our winemaking philosophy.
With Pierre Birebent, our winemaker, managing our vineyards year round, Signorello Estate practices a Vigneron style of winemaking. The idea of Vigneron, or winegrowing, reflects the practice that the choices made in the vineyards is intimately connected to the winemaking process. We grow the wine we love to drink so we can share a piece of Signorello Estate with you.
